I engaged Alliance movers to move from Singapore to Sydney. I chose Alliance after comparing a few other movers and I’m happy I can close the chapter with a 5 star review. Here are few reasons for the 5 stars.
1. The team was very responsive through out the process from start to finish. I saw reviews about many other movers saying they were only responsive up until getting the payment.
2. The process of getting a quote was quite fast and Bernice did it through a video call. She was responsive and tailored the quote based on my requests (ex: having a wooden crate for my bike)
3. Alvin was very responsive and accountable for everything from paper work to last mile delivery. He gave tips to fill up the paperwork. He also intervened and found solutions whenever there were things to solve, even with the Australian counter part.
I will recommend Alliance with confidence to my friends and family. Big thank you to Alvin and the team. Just want you to know companies that operate with this level of accountability are not so common nowadays. Kudos to you!Read more

We went with Alliance Movers after careful price comparison and reviews for our international relocation, and we are very happy with our choice! From initial enquiry, to pick up in Singapore, to storage, and eventually delivery to our new home in Paris, everything went well. We are so appreciative of the services of Alliance Movers for our move from Singapore to Shanghai. After 10 years in Singapore, we were quite nervous about the move and we chose Alliance because every staff member we came into contact with while gathering quotations was warm and honest and it helped to build our trust. Franky helped to confirm appointments after we had to cancel a few times. During the quotation process, Bernice helped to quote us a base price and then showed us an additional cost for items we were unsure of taking which helped us to make decisions about what to keep/sell prior to leaving. On moving day, we found her quotation was spot on. We had been quoted almost double the price by another company. Alvin was so patient to answer all the questions we had - about the quote, about insurance, about the service in Shanghai, about the timing of the shipping (about 50 emails!). On moving day, the team sent was efficient yet careful and we didn't have to lift a finger. On the Shanghai side, I was nervous about receiving our shipment in terms of duty, translation, and timing as we had a national holiday approaching. Alvin kept us updated about ships departing from SG and chose the best option for us; however, he was still fully transparent about delays that were out of Alliance's control. Alliance's Shanghai partner was equally amazing - working with Chinese port authorities and customs to expedite our shipment, communicating often to us, and reassuring us about duty. We received the shipment at the end of a work day Friday before the start of the holiday. It was perfectly timed and everything was in perfect condition and unpacked within two hours. Overall, we cannot recommend Alliance more highly. They not only made a really big move less stressful, but we feel ever staff member went above and beyond their jobs to provide excellent service. I had evaluated about 8 movers and packers and then chose Alliance Movers for my relocation.
The service by Alvin and team was excellent, from day one. They catered to all our requests and were very prompt and transparent in communication. The charges were reasonable and quotes were transparent which helped me plan better. They have an excellent warehousing facility as well. Alvin closely guided on the insurance and other requirements.
There were regulatory changes in the destination which was promptly communicated. Alvin kept me continuously updated on movement of the consignment.
Their partners at destination was also very professional. The packing and loading and unloading was very efficient and smooth.
Would strongly recommend Alliance movers and packers for any one looking to relocate to and from Singapore.

I phoned a few companies about moving from Singapore to London. Alliance Movers were the best by far! When I asked for a quote, I instantly got a very clear and detailed breakdown of what would happen and how much it would cost from Alvin Taye. From that point onwards, whenever I had a question I never had to wait long for an answer. Alvin was always there – supporting me all the way. I always knew what was going on - which was very reassuring. Alvin also helped me with customs papers and insurance etc. Then the handover to their partners in the UK was really smooth and easy. No hassle, no problems. Alliance packed and picked up my things in Singapore and they arrived exactly as they'd been packed in the UK.
