While we respect all feedback, it’s important to address misunderstandings with facts. This response is intended to provide clarity for future readers.
Initial Satisfaction & Documentation.
Following packing in Singapore, you completed and signed a detailed satisfaction survey, rating every aspect of our service as “Excellent.” Your written feedback stated that our team had “surpassed expectations” with “genuine customer care” and that you “would recommend your team highly” (dated 22/09/23). A final walk-through was conducted, and the signed form confirmed that all items were packed and nothing was left behind.
Support for Reported Oversights.
Despite this confirmation, you later informed us that a few items may have been left behind. Our team responded promptly—retrieved the items, and included them in a subsequent shipment to Dubai at no additional cost. This was done purely as a gesture of goodwill.
On Missing or Damaged Items.
Reported damages were processed under the provided insurance coverage. However, some high-value items were under-declared, which limited the claim outcome. Insurance settlements are based solely on client-declared values.
As for missing items, your shipment was managed via groupage—a method you opted for to reduce costs. While efficient, groupage requires all contents to be accurately declared and insured, which was not done in this case.
Destination Services & Invoicing.
Destination-related services such as handyman work, customs clearance, demurrage, and storage were managed by our overseas partner and were excluded from the initial quotation. These are common variable components in international relocations and were communicated transparently. We also waived certain fees in good faith to support a resolution.
