What is your insurance policy? How do you deal with damaged items?

Wee Care Mobility offers door-to-door insurance through our trusted partner, Inter Trans Insurance (ITI), covering loss, damage, and storage during local or international moves. We’ll guide you through coverage options before your move. In the rare event of damage or loss, please inform us promptly after delivery so we can assist with the claims process.

What is the best advice you would give to customers?

International moves can be complex—give yourself enough time to plan, sort, and prepare your items properly. Move only what matters most. If something can be sold, donated, or disposed of, consider letting it go to keep your move low-cost, efficient, and stress-free. Never hesitate to ask your mover anything you’re unsure about. We’re here to guide you—because when both sides work together, a smooth and successful relocation is absolutely possible. Because we care. 🧡

]Do not fall for [Name removed by Sirelo}' initial charm & promises. They'll bend over backwards to win your business but the delivery is exterley poor. Broken items galore + missing items. Worst of all, the invoicing method is opaque - following an indepth survey, they'll quite you for the fixed charged elements of the invoice allowing for +/- 10% movement but the final invoice will show a 50% increase! Day light robbery. Stay away.

While we respect all feedback, it’s important to address misunderstandings with facts. This response is intended to provide clarity for future readers.

Initial Satisfaction & Documentation.
Following packing in Singapore, you completed and signed a detailed satisfaction survey, rating every aspect of our service as “Excellent.” Your written feedback stated that our team had “surpassed expectations” with “genuine customer care” and that you “would recommend your team highly” (dated 22/09/23). A final walk-through was conducted, and the signed form confirmed that all items were packed and nothing was left behind.

Support for Reported Oversights.
Despite this confirmation, you later informed us that a few items may have been left behind. Our team responded promptly—retrieved the items, and included them in a subsequent shipment to Dubai at no additional cost. This was done purely as a gesture of goodwill.

On Missing or Damaged Items.
Reported damages were processed under the provided insurance coverage. However, some high-value items were under-declared, which limited the claim outcome. Insurance settlements are based solely on client-declared values.

As for missing items, your shipment was managed via groupage—a method you opted for to reduce costs. While efficient, groupage requires all contents to be accurately declared and insured, which was not done in this case.

Destination Services & Invoicing.
Destination-related services such as handyman work, customs clearance, demurrage, and storage were managed by our overseas partner and were excluded from the initial quotation. These are common variable components in international relocations and were communicated transparently. We also waived certain fees in good faith to support a resolution.

Our Commitment to Clients.
Throughout your move, our team remained transparent, professional, and solution-oriented. We provided clarifications, extended support, and made several goodwill concessions despite having followed procedures correctly.

We understand moving can be stressful, and we genuinely regret that your experience did not reflect your initial satisfaction. That said, we believe the facts speak clearly, and we remain committed to high service standards and client care.
