My wife and I used Crown to relocate our home to Singapore, we needed to put the car in storage for roughly 4 years whilst overseas. I had the car serviced before we left as the pink slip was due. The Mercedes 350SLK was in mint condition so we wanted the piece of mind to know it was being protected whilst away.
When we returned to Sydney the car required a 'blue slip' service to be road-worthy. So I asked a qualified mechanic to pop over to the depot and check the vehicle for road worthiness. He found the car in a field with a tarpaulin thrown over it. The Mercedes had been outsourced to some guy. As expected after 4 years the battery was dead. But the new brake discs had rusted, the dash/instrument panel didn't work, the petrol gauge had rusted down. The repairs came to A$6000. It took a lot of negotiating and time to recover the costs.
It's sad when you pay the full amount on time for a job to be done as per the contract and they stuff up.
So no I can not recommend Crown.

Appointed Crown for an international move from Singapore to Melbourne. Singapore packing was managed by Crown. Unpacking in Melbourne was managed by Grace. Crown gave the appearance of being reputable and efficient. On unpacking of container in Melbourne it was obvious that quite a few of the boxes had been poorly handled. We lost 5 expensive vases, 10 decorative plates and other items. None of the broken goods were packed / wrapped properly. All the ceramics were thrown in a box with only a sheet of paper separating them. Boxes were not marked fragile / this side up. It was obvious to us the boxes were tossed around from truck to container. Crown's outsourced contractor would have known the items were smashed / broken before contained packing. Saving the best for last, the 400kg safe was dropped from height and as a result large indentations on the corners. Thankfully door and lock still work. Very disappointed with Crown. Outsourcing of jobs to contractors results in poor behaviours and lack of accountability and compensation. We don't plan on moving internationally again so I do not expect to deal with contractors who do not show care and responsibility. I've moved internationally 12 times before and this was our worst experience. Be warned about outsourcing as the contractors will be held wholly unaccountable. Insurance is expensive but worth it given the disappointment and hassle to replace broken items.Read more

All the items were well packed. They were very quick and professional and also very helpful. They were very familiar with all the customs procedure and all items arrived timely and with no hassle. They also provided very good advice
