I had a very stressful experience with Allied when I moved my personal items from
Singapore to my home country. Here are some reasons why I would not recommend Allied:
1. Timeliness- My possessions were picked up by Allied on April 18 with the provided expected delivery date of Aug 24. Not only had it not even shipped yet on Aug 24, but they were dodging my emails to confirm the delivery address and updates. It just got delivered this week Oct 30- 9 weeks late.
2. Communication- After several attempts to make contact, they let me know that my things were sent on Aug 28 and that I had an excess amount due. See point 3
3. Shady- I paid for their services in full on the day of pickup. Imagine my surprise as they requested more money and threatened to hold my things hostage! Luckily, I got in touch with my employer who has a contact at Allied and was able to work it out for me on my behalf. Magically, the amount due went away and I didn’t owe anything…
Overall, a terrible experience. I would go with a different company next time.Read more

Avoid, disorganized, disinterested, litany of problems, inaccurate quotes, additional charges, agents refuse to feedback on majority of problems, and if they do so, blame one another. Worst experience with an international mover.

Great Smooth talkers. Cost escalations started the day the goods were loaded. Overall 20% cost esclation & over 108 days now. Goods kept in hostage. And no response to emails and calls. They build one sided contract. And take advantage of the fact that you are not in Singapore.

Nice sales pitch but then lousy packing, many broken items (they do not use bubblewrap), missing items and huge delay. I have moved 25 times and this was by far the worst experience ever. Insurance takes months and months , what an exceptionally lousy company.

One of the worst moving experience ever. So many of my things were broken when I got my shipment unpacked. Never have i ever had an issue with the movers in my 7 odd international moves. I would like to post photos of how atrocious their packing was. No double packing of ceramic & crystal things. While they were packing, their supervisor was not present at the site. And the worst part is that even their senior most person is not ready to accept responsibility.
